Security Bank Corp. (SBKC: News ) announced the appointment of Tony Collins president and chief executive officer and board member. Collins assumed the functions of president and chief executive officer on an interim basis in September 2008 and he has over 30 years of banking industry experience, including 3 years most recently with Security Bank Corporation as Executive Vice President and Regional Executive - Atlanta.

Security Bank also appointed Mel Jamison as executive vice president and chief credit officer. Jamison has served most recently as president and chief executive officer of Security Bank of Bibb County.
