THE challenge ahead in the financial industry is to put faith back and restore confidence in the market, says Raja Muda of Perak Raja Dr Nazrin Shah.He said of late there had been a great erosion of trust and the industry’s main priority should be to tackle this.“All of us would like to believe in the system of finance but it seems to have let us down.

“We must all work together to rebuild the trust in finance and it is the cornerstone of modern finance,” he said in his keynote address at the symposium.Nazrin said the availability of information could build confidence in the market. “Without information there can be no knowledge and without knowledge there can be no basis for trust and confidence.”
