The University of Maryland, College Park launched a program that teaches about new government regulations in the financial industry.Master of Science in Business: Finance will be taught through the university’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
“The global financial crisis has changed the way we think about finance,” said G. Anandalingam, dean of the Robert H. Smith School of Business, in a statement. “Now more than ever there is a need for industry professionals with a solid understanding of evolving financial models for banking and debt management, corporate governance and management.”
