Knoxville-based accounting firm Rodefer Moss & Co. PLLC said today it has launched a new division that will focus on the banking industry in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana.The Banking Industry Group starts with about three dozen clients, according to a news release.

“There are a great many community banks, credit unions and other financial organizations that aren’t necessarily large enough to warrant close attention from the Big Four accounting firms,” said Rodefer Moss CEO Jimmy Rodefer. “Our firm is moving to fill that vacuum.”
