The collapse of investment advisory company Storm Financial has prompted a call for a Senate inquiry into the banking system.NSW Nationals Senator John Williams on Tuesday night attended a meeting of hundreds of investors near Brisbane caught up in the fall of the Townsville-based company.

Many face losing their homes after Storm Financial went into administration earlier this month.Investors were encouraged to take out high-risk margin loans to buy shares, which have now fallen in value.
