Bank Windhoek has appointed Dr John Steytler as economist effective 01 April 2010. “As Economist, John will provide a valuable and important economic information service to the media, the stakeholders and clients of Bank Windhoek,” said the bank’s managing director, James Hill.“I am very excited to be part of the Bank Windhoek team. It was a deliberate decision to join the bank.

Bank Windhoek is a dynamic bank, which has gone into areas where other banks have not gone into yet.The bank is a market leader in certain segments and has grown tremendously during the last few years. It does a tremendous amount in terms of innovative financial products, especially products that do not require a lot of money to open a bank account and thus contributes tremendously to government’s objectives of expanding access to financial services to all Namibians.
