Deloitte, a leading accounting and consulting firm, has announced plans to launch its Middle East Islamic Finance Group in Bahrain besides the unveiling of its new Islamic Finance portal.The launch ceremony, to be held on April 18 at the Ritz-Carlton, Manama, will see the presence of several high-profile speakers including Khalid Hamad, executive director, Banking Supervision, Central Bank of Bahrain, and Deloitte global and regional leadership.
Omar Fahoum, CEO of Deloitte in the Middle East, Joe El Fadl, partner in charge for the Financial Services Industry (FSI), Deloitte in the Middle East and Daud Vicary Abdullah, Deloitte Global Islamic Finance Leader will address the gathering.The Middle East Islamic Finance Group represents a significant investment by Deloitte, with the appointment of dedicated Islamic Finance specialists from across audit, consulting and financial advisory services, said a senior official.
